To say I am excited would be an understatement! I am SO excited for what I am about to share with you! I have wanted to work on a project for the past year, but never had enough courage to do it. The project I am talking about is a promo video for my business! A promo video is something that I have wanted to create, but didn’t know if I was established enough or good enough to even have a promo video about my business. It was a struggle of doubt really.

Then, last month, I attended The Pursuit Conference in Rome, Georgia and I sat in on a break-out session on video marketing. I was very interested on learning how to use video to promote your business. This break-out class was AMAZING! It opened my eyes on how important a promo video is for your business, as well as gave me pointers on how to make my promo video look top-notch, while showing viewers a little of my personality as well! This class gave me the confidence I needed to pursue making a video! I will be blogging about this retreat in a few days, but the retreat itself helped me learn to overcome so much fear that I’ve not realized was present. Needless to say, The Pursuit Conference was in many ways life changing!

As soon as I got home from the conference, I contacted my friend Alyson, with Alyson Biggs Videography, about filming my video. She graciously agreed and we set up a time to film! My friends Kristina and Blake agreed to dress up and let me capture their love while Alyson filmed it! We had SO much fun! I will say, I think my favorite part of the video is my dog, Bo, who happens to be a huge, lovable Great Dane! You should totally watch the video to see him 🙂

I’m so pleased with my video! Alyson did a great job at capturing my personality, while keeping the video professional as well. Throughout the video, you will see me in my office setting, outdoors photographing an engagement session, as well as little details that all come together to make my business what it is.
